BALIKA SAMRUDHI YOJANA (B.S.Y.)
 The
Balika Samrudhi Yojana (BSY) will cover the girl child in families below
poverty line as defined by the Govt. of India in rural and urban areas,
who are born on or after 15th August 1997. The girl child in India has a
lowest status and enjoys fewer rights, opportunities and benefits of
childhood, as compared to boy child.
On account of this, a post birth grant
amount of Rs.500/- is given to girl child. In addition to this, an
annual scholarship is also given for attending the school after
successful completion of years of schooling as detailed below:
